I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with an old-style street right outside the door. It was a mix of traditional and modern buildings, giving it a unique charm. Plus, it was recently renovated, so everything was in great condition. I felt safe with security guards at the entrance, and the hotel was within walking distance to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Getting around was easy too, as the subway Line 2 was nearby. The staff spoke English well, making communication a breeze. The hotel was also spotlessly clean and the breakfast had a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
There was nothing I didn't like.

The location was fantastic - easily accessible to some of the main attractions. the price was very affordable. Despite the room having some wear and tear, it was still clean and had the basic necessities I needed. the staff was generally helpful and friendly.
The room was quite small and didn't have much space for movement. the bathroom also had some issues with water pressure and hot water.

Located in a historic area with beautifully restored buildings, this hotel was perfect for our weekend trip. The walking distance to famous tourist attractions saved us a lot of money and time. We were also able to enjoy breakfast with a wide variety of dishes, including both Western and traditional Chinese food. It was great to have the convenience of a tuck shop just across the street from the hotel, which offered snacks and refreshments.
Our double room was quite small and we found it challenging to fit our luggage in the room, which made it difficult to move around. as we entered the hotel, we went through a security checkpoint where our luggage was thoroughly checked, a necessary precaution in China, but it took a little longer to enter the hotel.
